Dr Sim, who has been a vet for more than 25 years, runs the practice from the veterinary clinic offices in Third Avenue, Walmer. 

Since starting his career in veterinary medicine, Sim’s vision has been to offer a one-stop veterinary clinic.

Jo is ranked as one of the Bay’s top veterinary experts with her key focus being pain management and rehabilitation of animals.

As a consultant for South City Vet, she is able to bring a unique skill set to the clinic, adding to the pool of experience.

An avid horse lover, De Klerk, who is from the United Kingdom, attained her masters in animal health before focusing in pain management.

With a passion for keeping animals healthy and addressing pain issues, 

De Klerk went on to study veterinary pain management and acupuncture.

De Klerk is considered an industry leader in equine pain and injury management, with a core focus in the rehabilitation of injured animals.

Dr Cedric Tutt

Tutt is an internationally renowned veterinary dentist – teaching students and treating a variety of animals around the globe.

Tutt travels the world teaching other vets and students about the complexities of veterinary dentistry. An avid blogger and writer, Tutt – who is married to pet ophthalmologist vet , Dr Kim Tutt, – is based at the Cape Animal Medical Centre in Cape Town. 

The married couple – both experts in their fields – come to Port Elizabeth regularly and use South City Veterinary Clinic to conduct their operations. With offices in the heart of Walmer, situated close to the Airport, South City is the ideal facility for visiting visiting veterinarians 

Tutt hosts his own website where interested vets can follow his on-goings and learn from his vast  experience. 

Tutt is the preferred veterinary dentist in several countries and has treated a variety of animals including lions, tigers, cheetah’s, dolphins and domestic pet.

Leading animal eye and vision expert, Dr Kim Tutt,  – an ophthalmologist – travels the country treating animals.

She is widely known as one of the few animal ophthalmologist operating in the country, making her passion and knowledge vitally important to the team.

Kim offers advanced eye treatment for all animals.
